Privacy Policy
Berbari Media Corp. (operating as WeReduceDebts) · Last Updated: 06/17/2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Berbari Media Corp. ("we," "us," or "our"), operating the website and marketing services available at https://wereducedebts.com/ (the "Site"), collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you. By using the Site and submitting your information, you agree to the practices described here.
We are a marketing and lead generation company. We help connect consumers who may be seeking debt relief assistance with third-party companies that provide those services. We are not a debt relief provider, lender, credit repair organization, or law firm, and we do not provide debt relief, legal, or financial advice.
1. Information We Collect
When you use the Site and complete our forms, we may collect:
- Contact and identity information: your name, telephone number, email address, and date of birth.
- Verification information: a one-time passcode (OTP) sent to your phone to confirm it belongs to you.
- Financial information: information about your debt obtained through a permissioned credit inquiry, as described in Section 2.
- Consent records: records of the disclosures shown to you and the consent you provide, including timestamps and related verification certificates.
- Technical and usage information: your IP address, device and browser type, and information about how you interacted with our advertisements and Site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
2. Permissioned Credit Inquiry
With your authorization, we (through our service provider) use your telephone number and date of birth to request a soft credit inquiry to help determine whether you may qualify for the debt relief services offered by the providers we work with — for example, by estimating your unsecured debt.
A soft credit inquiry does not affect your credit score and is not visible to lenders. You authorize this inquiry by affirmatively agreeing on our Site before it is performed. If you do not provide this authorization, we will not request the inquiry.
We use the result primarily to assess eligibility (such as whether your unsecured debt meets the threshold used by the providers we work with). We retain the detailed inquiry data only for a limited period and otherwise keep only the qualification outcome, as described in our retention practices.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Verify your identity and contact information;
- Determine whether you may qualify for the services offered by the providers we work with;
- Connect you with one or more third-party providers, including by telephone;
- Communicate with you about your inquiry;
- Operate, secure, analyze, and improve our Site and marketing;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. How We Share Your Information
We may share your information with:
- Third-party service providers in the debt relief industry to whom we refer or route you, so they may contact you about their services. Once your information is shared with a provider, that provider's own privacy policy governs its use of your information.
- Our own service providers — such as hosting, call-routing, identity-verification, and credit-inquiry vendors — who process data on our behalf under confidentiality and data-protection obligations and only as needed to perform their services.
- Legal and safety recipients — when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, property, or safety.
- In a business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your sensitive financial information to unrelated third parties for their own independent marketing.
5. How You Connect With Providers
We operate an inbound model. You choose whether to call the number provided on our Site, and when you do, your call is connected and routed to one or more third-party providers in real time. We do not make outbound marketing calls to you and do not send you marketing text messages.
As part of verifying your information, a one-time passcode (OTP) may be sent to confirm that the phone number you provide belongs to you before a permissioned inquiry is performed. This is a verification message, not marketing.
If you ask not to be contacted, we honor that request and maintain an internal do-not-contact (suppression) list. Once you are connected to a provider, that provider is responsible for its own communications with you, and you may tell the provider directly to stop contacting you. Message and data rates may apply to any verification message.
6. Cookies and Tracking
We and our advertising partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to measure and attribute ad performance and to improve the Site. You can control cookies through your browser settings. For interest-based advertising choices, see the tools offered by the Digital Advertising Alliance and Network Advertising Initiative.
7. Data Retention
We retain your information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy and to meet legal and contractual obligations, after which it is securely deleted. Detailed credit-inquiry data is retained for a limited period and then purged. See our internal Data & Record Retention Policy for specifics.
8. Data Security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and multi-factor authentication for systems handling sensitive data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, which may include the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your information, and to opt out of certain sharing or targeted advertising. Residents of California, and of other states with comprehensive privacy laws, may have additional rights under those laws.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 11. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights, and we will verify your request before responding. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits.
10. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.
